La formation du religieux dans le contexte qui est le nôtre exige une prise de conscience authentique de la valeur du travail manuel. Cette année nous avons fait comprendre aux novices que l'on ne peut pas échapper à la loi du travail. Les résultats ne nous déçoivent pas. Nos étangs contiennent beaucoup de poissons. Comme vous pouvez le constater, le noviciat essaie d'articuler prière et travail. Nous vidons nos étangs pour avoir du poisson à manger, une manière de nous prendre en charge.

I am very happy to find your blog site, thanks to Fr Valerio Eko OMI. I wish you all a deeply spiritual year. I celebrate my 25 year jubilee this year from the time that I was in the Noviciate. We were 9 Novices but now we are only 2 left from that year. I hope and pray that the Oblates of Africa will bring a message of hope and peace to the world through our ministry and mission.
